MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – The annual USPHL Detroit Showcase is always a weekend of competitive hockey under one roof at Mount Clemens Ice Arena, home of the Metro Jets.

The 2025 edition of the event was certainly no exception as 40 games were played Nov. 21-24 in the USPHL Premier and USPHL Elite divisions with 14 teams competing.

“On behalf of the Jets family, we would like to thank the staff, volunteers and everyone in a Jets logo for representing our organization with class and professionalism,” said Jets GM Justin Quenneville. “The Detroit showcase is always a marquee event for the league and once again was a huge success. So much time and effort go into something this size and none of it is possible without everyone’s commitment. In fact, the league recognized our event again and we set another record for scouts that attended over all four days.

“We want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and look forward to getting back on the ice after the break.”

All three Jets teams played four games each at the event, in addition to an ACHA Division 1 game Friday night between Hope College and Indiana Tech University, a game the Flying Dutchmen won 4-1.
