Eric Ehn played for the #MetroJets during the 2001-02 season, winning a Silver Cup national championship under head coach Jon Cooper, and then spent a season each with the NAHL’s Capital Centre Pride and USHL’s Green Bay Gamblers. The Dexter, Mich., native then played at NCAA Division I Air Force from 2004-08. Ehn rang up 53 goals and 93 assists for 146 points over 133 games for the Falcons and was named a Hobey Baker Award finalist in 2006-07 - the first player from any service academy to earn that honor. That season, he was also the first Air Force player to be named an All-American after putting up 24 goals and 64 points. After graduating from the Air Force Academy, Ehn played briefly in the ECHL for the Bakersfield Condors in 2008-09. In 2023, his record-setting collegiate career was cemented when he was inducted into the Atlantic Hockey Hall of Honor.
