BOSTON – The Metro Jets wrapped up the USPHL IHC Showcase Sunday afternoon.

Kicking off things, the Jets DP Team fell 4-3 on a last-minute goal by one of the USPHL’s top teams in the Boston Bandits.

Anthony Carlier made 40 saves, while Trevor Naiman, Trevor Granzow and Nick McDougall scored.

The Jets DP Team finished 2-2-0 at the showcase against some very tough competition.

Fredrik Meurling stopped all 23 shots he faced as the Jets then blanked the Springfield Pics 2-0 to finish 4-0 in Boston.

Newcomer Justin Renzi picked up his first goal as a Jet (also his first junior goal) and Jhuwon Davis (pictured) also scored.

Both teams are idle this coming weekend.
