Jets ink rookie Bradley, who will ‘bring intensity and hard work ethic’ to Fraser

FRASER, Mich. – Brandon Bradley will be one of the younger players on the Metro Jets roster next season, but that doesn’t mean he won’t have an impact.

A 2002 birth year forward out of Marine City, Bradley played for the Belle Tire 16U AAA team in 2018-19 and then caught on with the Jets.

“I started skating with the team in the spring, and then I played in the spring showcase at Fraser with them,” Bradley said. “I liked the coaches and the players. The team is very successful and has lots of good opportunities, great coaching and off-ice program. The Metro Jets are a winning team and has lots to offer to the players.”

Jets coach-GM Justin Quenneville is excited to see what Bradley can offer the club in the fall.

“We started talking to Brandon midway through last season and followed his progress during his 16U AAA season,” said Quenneville. “We feel he is ready to make the jump to junior hockey and invest in his development. He has all the tools and now he gets to be with a program that can help him elevate his game to another level. We have a proven track record in helping young players like Brandon find success and advance. He wants to be in this environment, and you can sense his excitement approaching this year.

“People will notice his speed and skill, but his tenacity and grit will transition well at this level. He showed really well in the spring with us and we are looking forward to working with him full time.”

Bradley added that he can “bring intensity and my hard work ethic” to Fraser for the 2019-20 USPHL campaign.

“In the short term, I want to quickly gain coaches’ and teammates’ respect and contribute, on and off the ice,” he said. “Long term, I want to get bigger, faster, stronger. I hope that all leads to a college career where I can study engineering.”

The #MetroJets are thrilled to announce the re-signing of goaltender Arnaud Paradis for the 2026-27 season!

A native of Montreal, Quebec, Paradis returns to #JetsNation after playing last season as one of the youngest players on the team and in the entire USPHL.

Paradis showed flashes of brilliance last year as a 2009 birth year and with another full season with our goaltending coach Randy Wilson, the sky is the limit for this youngster from Canada.

Yep, that’s THE Connor Hellebuyck - you know, Olympic gold medalist with Team USA, former Hart Trophy winner as NHL MVP and multi-time Vezina Trophy winner as top NHL goalie - on the left and the recently-retired Jack Campbell, a former first-round NHL draft pick, on the right.

No big deal, right?
