FRASER, Mich. – The MJDP team traveled 10 minutes from home at defeated the Motor City Gamblers 5-1 Tuesday night at Big Boy Arena.
Lucas Millmine netted two goals and Andrew Parmentier made 30 saves in goal for the win.
“I thought we started off slow and sloppy in the first but got our feet under us in the second and started making plays,” said Jets associate coach Adam Morrison. “Did a really good job staying disciplined and staying out of the box.”
Robert Grasso, Lukas Nies and Bennett Sheppard added one goal each on the night.

The MJDP next plays Saturday at 7 p.m. at Battle Creek. The Jets also play in Battle Creek Friday night at 7 p.m.
