Coach Lovell has been with the Jets since 2015 as Head Coach and Strength Coach. He brings years of experience and knowledge helping develop players on and off the ice. Prior to the Jets, he was an Assistant Coach with the Port Huron Falcons (NAHL) team for 2 years. He also played professionally in the IHL and CHL, capping his career off with a championship with the Fort Wayne Komets. Prior to his professional career, Lovell played in college hockey in Canada and in the OHL.  Lovell also coached AAA youth hockey in Detroit for 5+ Years. He holds many certifications and runs the M.A.T. (Michigan Athlete Training) gym in the Jets Rink where current Jets, Alumni, high level Pro and College athletes all train with. (resume)
