The #MetroJets have lost one of their biggest fans, Fran Foster, the aunt of former Jets goalie Danny Miscavish (2020-22). Watching the boys play hockey made her life complete; she never missed a game. We are sure by now she has found Braydin Lewis, her favorite offensive defenseman in Heaven. Kevin Shand played for the #MetroJets during the 2015-16 season, as well as parts of the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons before NAHL and USHL call-ups. The Saline, Mich., native totaled 54 goals and 51 assists for 105 points in 56 games in a Jets uniform. Shand then played four seasons at NCAA Division III Milwaukee School of Engineering, posting seven goals and 11 assists for 18 points in 52 games.
