Both Jets teams gain victories on Day 2 of USPHL Islanders HC Showcase

BOSTON – Both Metro Jets teams picked up wins Saturday on Day 2 of the USPHL IHC Showcase.

In the morning game, Justin Song, Tyler German and Brandon Graham (pictured) scored and Brian Tallieu stopped all 18 shots as the Jets dropped the New Jersey Rockets 3-0.

Final shots were 40-18 Jets.

Then in the evening game, Michael Paul made 20 saves, while Colin Day scored a pair and Nick McDougall one as the Metro Jets DP Team knocked off the Hartford Jr. Wolfpack 3-1.

The showcase wraps up with a pair of Sunday games as the DP Team plays the Boston Bandits at 9:50 a.m. and the Jets take on the Springfield Pics at 11:20 a.m.
