ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Robby Flannery and Devlin Macaulay scored twice to lift the Metro Jets to a 4-1 win over the Texas Brahmas Thursday night in the final Pool B round robin game at the Fraser Cup National Tournament at Canlan Ice Sports.

With the win, the Jets finish 3-0 in the round robin and will play the Granite City Lumberjacks in the Fraser Cup semifinals Friday night at 6 p.m. Eastern.

"The guys played well tonight and generated better chances using each other," Jets coach-GM Justin Quenneville said. "I thought our puck support was stronger and even though we forced some looks, we kept our composure. In the end, this game gave us a chance to rest some of our guys and I'm happy for many of them stepping in and contributing."

Reggie Millette added two assists for the Jets, while Andrew Kormos made 24 saves to get the win in goal.

Bennett Weycker scored the lone Texas goal and Carson Murison finished with 27 saves in suffering the defeat between the pipes.

"The biggest positive was that we came out with a 'W' and we're playing tomorrow," said Flannery. "I think it's the same thing we've been doing all year. We've been taking it one game at a time all season, and we just have to play Metro hockey."
