Jets rookie Boudon selected NA3HL Forward of the Month after February tear

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) has announced its monthly player awards for the month of February.

The Bauer Hockey NA3HL Forward of the Month is Louis Boudon of the Metro Jets.

Only players who are nominated by their respective teams are considered for the NA3HL monthly awards.

Boudon paved the way for the Jets in February, leading the nominated NA3HL forwards in goals scored through the month.

The 18-year-old from Grenoble, France was plus-20 through the month, while grabbing 20 points, which included eleven goals and nine assists. Boudon averaged 2.5 points per game and posted two game-winning goals.

“Louis has a huge month and put up some big numbers,” Jets coach-GM Justin Quenneville said. “The biggest number that I liked was his plus-20 rating, which makes him not only a threat offensively, but plays hard and responsible on both sides of the puck.”
