Boudon’s late goal lifts Jets past West Michigan to even East Division semifinals

FRASER, Mich. – Louis Boudon‘s goal at 14:02 of the third period snapped a 2-2 tie and the Metro Jets held on to defeat the West Michigan Wolves 3-2 Saturday night at Fraser Hockeyland.

The East Division semifinal series is now tied at one game apiece with the deciding Game 3 set for Sunday back at Fraser at 12:15 p.m.

Jets captain Graham Day scored a power-play goal in the first period and Griffin Sawyer added a short-handed marker in the first as well.

In goal, Jake Gwillim was stellar in making 21 saves for the Jets.

Justin Bloomfield and Nathan Sudek scored for the Wolves and Sam Woznicki stopped 37 shots in suffering the defeat.
